Post Wedding Webpage

May 14th, 2005 has come and gone and hopefully it was as enjoyable for all in attendance as it was for us. This webpage will stick around for a while yet, perhaps in perpetuity, though it's likely that updates will become few and far between. There should be a flurry of activity in the near future, though, as we start displaying and linking to photos from the wedding & reception. Soon!

But What Should I Wear?

Santa Barbara in May has historically had quite pleasant weather. For May 14th in particular, the average daytime high has been 79F/26C with the nighttime low averaging 48F/9C, and has had very low risk of rain.

The level of formality we're expecting is a sort of comfortable semi-formal. The wedding party will be wearing tuxes and dresses, but for everyone else dress as nice as you'd like while still being comfortable. If you'd like to wear a suit and tie, by all means do, but if nice jeans and a button-down are more your style, groovy. We'll be dipping into moments of pomp and circumstance, but for the most part we want everyone to be able to relax, laugh, dance and celebrate.

The bride's dress is white with light blue accents, and the bridesmaid's dresses follow with a blue theme. As one last note, since the Ceremony is being held on the lawn of the Rose Garden, shoes which don't have heels resembling lawn darts are probably the way to go.
